The Criterion is one of the few independent theatres in London’s West End, managed by The Criterion Theatre Trust, all profits generated from our theatre operations are put back into the running and care of this unique historic venue.

The Criterion is not just a great West End theatre, it is being faithfully restored, offers world-class performances and is committed to encouraging and promoting new emerging talent by giving the opportunity for wider access to the theatre. The site works to showcase the venue as well as the performances and introduces the Trust’s New Writing and Education programmes.
