Established in 2001, the Global Lung Cancer Coalition (GLCC) provides an international 'voice' for lung cancer patients, it comprises 28 non-governmental patient organisations from across the world.

The Atlas exposes variations between countries in terms of lung cancer and recovery, it supports the case that much more needs to be done to improve the quality and consistency of lung cancer diagnosis, treatment and care.
