Jeffrey Archer is one of the world's most renowned storytellers, with works published in 97 countries and translated into more than 33 languages. Despite his global success, there was an opportunity to modernise his digital platforms to better engage readers, grow his audience, and support ongoing marketing efforts for new releases.

Our Approach

Jeffrey Archer’s team approached us to lead a strategic overhaul of his online presence, with a particular focus on increasing engagement, improving user experience, and creating a cohesive voice across digital channels.

Our work began with a comprehensive content audit of the existing website and a review of information architecture (IA) to identify structural weaknesses and areas for improvement. From there, we worked closely with Jeffrey Archer’s team to:

  • Develop a clear and consistent digital content strategy, ensuring messaging and tone of voice were aligned across web and social channels.
  • Redesign and redevelop the website, with a focus on improving navigation, visual storytelling, and calls-to-action that drive deeper engagement.
  • Implement a refined user experience, optimising for key metrics such as reducing bounce rate, increasing time on site, and boosting pages viewed per session.
  • Expand social media impact, conducting a full audit of existing platforms and designing a revitalisation programme. This included:
    • Rebuilding the YouTube channel with a focus on better content curation and audience development.
    • Launching an Instagram growth programme aimed at building a larger, more engaged follower base, particularly targeting younger and emerging readers.

While the website is built on WordPress, we significantly extended its core functionality to meet modern demands:

  • Custom content templates that enable flexible storytelling across books, news, and events.
  • SEO optimisation to improve discoverability for new readers and enhance organic traffic growth.
  • Enhanced performance and security measures to ensure a reliable and fast experience across all devices.

Integrated analytics and reporting tools for continuous monitoring of user engagement and marketing performance.
