Macmillan Distribution (MDL) specialise in UK and worldwide book distribution, providing a comprehensive fulfilment service to over forty publishers.
Following the successful development and launch of MDLConnect, we continued to work closely with the MDL team to refresh their public facing website. We sought to champion MDL’s well deserved reputation for high quality and reliable logistics and distribution services for the publishing community, alongside a clear and concise offer to both publisher clients and customers.
Prototypes were developed at the design stage to help streamline the journey for new customers and lead them to create an account. Consideration was also given to how the site could be used to qualify enquiries ensuring it would attract publishing clients who are a good match. Integration with Twitter and Pinterest helped bring energy and immediacy to the site.
